Kyran Bracken was thrown in at the deep end with a full England debut against the All Blacks at Twickenham in November 1993. Despite a serious ankle injury he played a key role in a memorable victory and was capped against Scotland and Ireland in the following 5 Nations Campaign. Solicitors Final exams prevented the former Stoneyhurst schoolboy from touring South Africa in summer 1994 but he has already been in demand for BBC TV presenting. Since the World Cup he has been chosen to front up Simpson Piccadilly’s menswear advertising and has co-hosted Train 2 Win, the junior Gladiators programme for ITV. Interests include cooking, squash, golf and the theatre. He is also interested in motivational and after dinner speaking. Kyran is currently seen as a key member of Saracens bid for the 1998/99 league title and will be pushing hard to regain his England place. |
