Patricia O'Connor was born in Dublin and later moved to Cheltenham.  She is back in Ireland after spending a number of years in America and the UK.  She has presented television programmes for ABC and CBS in San Francisco.  She also works as a management consultant.   Her company has trained executives from Fortune Five Hundred companies in the USA, the UK and Ireland in the art of ‘Presentation Skills’ and  ‘Personal Image Development’.  Pat has also designed and written training programmes for other companies.   

She has presented 'Business' segments of 'People Are Talking' (a one-hour daily programme) where Pat gave 'on-air' advice on topics including women in business, career advancement, obtaining mortgages, how to protect oneself against fraud, selecting stocks, shares, and insurance policies.   She has also worked as a roving reporter and given stock market reports on air.    Pat holds a full Stock Brokerage licence (Series 7).  

Her most recent venture 'THE PAT O’CONNOR SHOW’ is a series of half-hour programmes featuring top people in their fields. Guests include Dame Barbara Cartland, Lord Grade, Phil Collins, Lord Hanson, Sir Jimmy Savile, Lord White, Sacha Distel, Miss Bluebell, and fashion designer Pierre Cardin.  Her guests speak of what motivated them to succeed and they give tips to the viewers on making it in their field.  

The programmes prove to the general public that a person can succeed against all odds (as her guests avow) as long as they are open-minded regarding their future and ready to let success into their lives.

She is currently training executives in Ireland and the UK in the art of presentation skills.  

Her one-day course ‘Personal Image Development’ has been received with great success.
