Paul Burden has for the past decade been the face of business journalism on the BBC. For ten years, from its launch in 1989, he was the principle presenter of the BBC's morning business hour, Business Breakfast.
Business and financial affairs apart, Paul has worked in a wide range of other broadcasting roles. Prior to Business Breakfast, he was employed as a reporter with the nightly current affairs programme, 'Newsnight'.
Paul now combines freelance broadcasting and written journalism with a part-time role as Media Affairs advisor to the John Lewis Partnership, the U.K's leading employee-owned business.
