On taking up his appointment PY Gerbeau used his great energy and enthusiasm to instigate a complete revision of the business plan, introduce new financial controls and management tools and overhaul visitor flow management and services, all whilst expertly handling the ongoing negative media coverage and political involvement.

Drawing on his experience gained as the Vice President of Park Operations for Euro Disney, Europe’s biggest visitor attraction, his leadership of the Dome saw visitor satisfaction ratings reach 90%.

Previously a Management Consultant specialising in the transfer of top-level sport management and performance to the business world, he was also a professional ice hockey player in the US, Canada and Europe. He also became General Manager & Coach of a top French team, as well as a member of their National Team. PY has an MBA from one of France’s leading business schools and is a scratch golfer!

He has recently accepted a prestigious position of Executive-in-Residence at the London Business School. With his extensive knowledge and experience of developing, leading and managing programmes to re-focus and turn around business he has relevant and insightful views on a range of commercial issues including corporate finance, media relations, employee motivation, politics in business, leisure facility management and delivering results in high pressure situations.
