| A graduate from Durham University and a specialist in Natural History, Rex Warner found his ‘sea faring legs’ at eighteen and set off on an exploration of the world, which proved to be one voyage after another successfully meeting challenges. He received the Shell Livewire Award for organising and leading Enterprise Neptune on a two year, 20,000 mile expedition to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the first European rounding of Southern Africa. He also inspired and undertook The China Voyage, one of the longest raft voyages in history (6,000 miles across the Pacific in 6 months); The Columbus Challenge, following in the wake of Christopher Columbus; The Marco Polo Voyage for which he received the Rolex Award for Enterprise. Rex spent additional time studying Business Studies and has, not only a personal interest in investment analysis but also, ongoing interest in sponsorship and marketing opportunities connected with each expedition. His professional interests include, corporate speaking engagements, writing, photography, (he has been published in over 100 newspapers and magazines, including the National Geographic and The Times), and filming (his news footage has appeared on ITN and CNN).
